Baby on Board!

Well, after a long time of waiting, Colton Timothy Hawkins made his introduction to the world on August 29, 2007. His entrance was quick and easy (at least for me - Paul - it was). And it didn't look too rough for Missy either. Well, if giving birth to a child can ever be called not too rough. The main purpose of this blog is to allow people abroad to view pics and things easily, so here's some picks of Cole. He was 9 pounds, 1 ounce; 21 inches long.

We caught him with a little grin in this one. (Sidenote: I feel like a total dork writing this blog. Like one of those parents who forces people to sit through a slideshow of their kids on vacation or something.)

Here's Paityn's first experience holding Cole. It looks like Cole has his eyes closed peacefully, but really, I think they're closed because Paityn just poked them. And if you're wondering, yes Telise is dressed like Sleeping Beauty........and yes I'm very, very glad that we had a boy. Very glad.

Okay, you have GOT to tell me where you get your burpcloths. And Paul, you got your boy, so when do I get my girl? What I wouldn't give for a girl who dressed up as Sleeping Beauty...I love by the way that you had to try to cover up the girl-y boppy. And Missy, I hope I look half as great as you after my third kid. You ROCK!

Is that it? Where are the rest of the family photos? No Master Chief graphic? Come on Missy, what could you possibly be doing all day long. If you're not making me some of those famous cookies, you should be updating this blog. And why do you have to lie about your child's name? Colton Kevin Hawkins deserves a lot better.
