The time finally came and off we went to California with the Hawkins'. Paul was especially excited--more than any of the kids, and that's a big feat since paityn is easily excitable.
We mistakenly took telise on pirates and splash mountain to early in the day and she was afraid of everything after that. But when you really think about it, almost all the rides have a villian or scary part to the ride. Paityn was to young to care. Cole was easygoing and Paityn was excited almost the entire time. She is still asking me almost daily when we get to go to Disneyland again. Telise had lunch with the princesses and loved it. During the parade telise couldn't even smile because she was watching so intently.

i can't believe how big all the kids are getting. i miss you!!! and yeah, talk about a fun trip!!! any trip would be fun with that gang. and you look totally awsome! tell paul i said 'SUP??!!

Missy! I'm so glad to see that you're blogging! What a fun trip to Disneyland! Isn't it fun to see Disney through your childrens' eyes?
It's one of my most favorite places in the whole wide world! When we live in CA, we had passes for two years and Brooklyn and Blake were so spoiled, asking every day, "Can we go to Disneyland?" like it's just any other 'ole park!!! We're taking them when we go back in May for Matt's graduation, but it's going to be a surprise. I can't wait!

Be still my heart, a new posting from the Hawkins family! :) Looks like another exciting visit to the Magic Kingdom. We told Ashtyn that we won't take her to Disneyland until she can go through a carwash without freaking out. It might be a while. :)
